چکیده
The aim of this study was to investigate the effects humic acid (HA) applications on rapeseed (Brassica napus L.) growth, heavy metal uptake, bioconcentration factor (BCF), translocation (TF), tolerance index (TI), catalase (CAT), ascorbate peroxidase (APX) enzyme activities and hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) content in polluted soil with lead (Pb), chromium (Cr), cadmium (Cd), zinc (Zn). Three doses HA (Control, HA1:500 mg kg-1, HA2:1000 HA3:2000 kg-1) were applied pots. HA1, HA2, HA3 increased plant growth parameters compared soil. Compared control, Pb, Cr, Cd, Zn concentrations plant. However, significantly decreased roots shoots BCF both plants greater than 1 for Zn. specifically HA2 application shoot root values TF smaller On other hand, Cd values. Shoot TI 17.37 %, 9.09% CAT APX H2O2 rapeseed. It is concluded that has a remedial effect development by reducing oxidative stress.

Heavy metal toxicity: Effect on plant growth, biochemical parameters and metal accumulation by Brassica juncea L.
Plant growth, pigment concentration, biochemical parameters and uptake of heavy metals were determined for Brassica juncea L. in response to cadmium and lead stress. The plant exhibited a decline in growth, chlorophyll content and carotenoids with Cd and Pb but Cd was found to be more detrimental than Pb treatment in B. juncea. The protein content was decreased by Cd (900 μM) to 95% and 44% by ...
متن کاملFactors affecting heavy metal uptake in plant selection for phytoremediation.
The heavy metal uptake of ten plant species was studied under different soil and climatic conditions. Effects of soil pH, temperature, plant species and phenophase on the heavy metal content of stems and leaves were determined in pot experiments. Plants and soil samples were collected from a lead/zinc mine ore (Gyöngyösoroszi, Hungary) and characterised by high contents of Pb, Zn, As, Cd, Cu. T...
متن کاملNutrient and heavy metal content of rapeseed (Brassica napus) irrigated with treated wastewater
Field trials were conducted in winter season in two sites located about 20km north east of Cairo; Gabal Asfar farm (fertile soil) and Berka site (virgin soil). The trials aimed to evaluate the impact of rapeseed irrigation methods with secondary treated wastewater on yield ,quality trace elements and heavy metal content. The results clearly showed that rapeseed crop was not suited to the virgin ...
متن کاملEffects of Combined Amendments on Growth and Heavy Metal Uptake by Pakchoi (Brassica chinensis L.) Planted in Contaminated Soil
Remediating soils with heavy metals contamination is a significant challenge. This study investigated the co-remediation effect when paired soil amendment mixtures were used to treat soil contaminated by Pb, Cd, and Zn. The three mixed amendments are: 1) micro particle hydroxyapatite (mHAP) and humic acid 2) nano particle hydroxyapatite (nHAP) and humic acid 3) sepiolite and humic acid. Co-reme...
متن کاملIsolation and characterization of a heavy metal-resistant Burkholderia sp. from heavy metal-contaminated paddy field soil and its potential in promoting plant growth and heavy metal accumulation in metal-polluted soil.
A heavy metal-resistant bacterial strain was isolated from heavy metal-contaminated soils and identified as Burkholderia sp. J62 based on the 16S rDNA gene sequence analysis. The heavy metal- and antibiotic resistance, heavy metal solubilization of the isolate were investigated. The isolate was also evaluated for promoting plant growth and Pb and Cd uptakes of the plants from heavy metal-contam...
